Terms and Conditions

Please have a look at the temporary COVID-19 related changes to our cancellation policy.

  1. Scope and subject

Rinneke GmbH (the provider) offers yoga lessons and retreats. The terms and conditions apply to all services offered by the provider within this framework. Should individual regulations be or become invalid, the remaining regulations remain valid. By using one or more services or by assignment of an order, the participant agrees to the application of these terms and conditions.

  1. Yoga lessons
Cancellation of private lessons

Private lessons will not be charged if cancelled in time. If an appointment is cancelled less than 24 hours in advance, the private lesson will be charged.

Cancellation by the provider

The provider reserves the right to cancel a private lesson – even at short notice – in case of illness or unforeseeable circumstances, or to be represented by a suitably qualified person. The client will be informed of the cancellation as soon as possible by e-mail, SMS or telephone.

Ability to participate / liability

It is the responsibility of the participants to consult a doctor before their first yoga lesson. Existing psychological or physical health restrictions as well as an existing pregnancy must be reported to the provider at the beginning of the event at the latest. The provider reserves the right to exclude participants who do not fulfil the physical and/or psychological requirements from participating in an event. Insurance is the sole responsibility of the participant, any liability is refused. No liability is assumed for any valuables brought to a venue by the participant.

  1. Retreats
Registration / deposit / balance payment

Upon receipt of the application, the participant receives a registration confirmation together with the bank account of the provider. Reservations can only be confirmed with a deposit. This deposit is non-refundable. The remaining balance must be paid no later than 30/60 days before the start of the retreat (depending on the retreat you’ve booked and as stated in your booking confirmation). If payment is not timely, services can be refused and cancellation costs can be claimed. In the case of a limited number of participants, registrations will be considered in the order of deposit payment.

Annulment

In the case of a cancellation before the remaining balance is due, the total amount minus the deposit will be reimbursed. In the event of a cancellation at a later date, a reimbursement of the total costs is excluded. The participant has the opportunity to name a substitute participant. This must be done simultaneously with the cancellation. In this case a processing fee of CHF 50.- as well as any rebooking costs are due.

Program changes

Changes to the program as well as individual services (accommodation, travel companions, yoga teachers, transport, catering etc.) are expressly reserved due to unforeseeable circumstances or for security reasons. In this case, additional costs will be borne by the participants.

Premature termination by the participant

If the participant has to cancel the retreat prematurely for some reason, the price for the offer will not be refunded. Any additional costs will be borne by the participant.

Cancellation by the provider

If the minimum number of participants is not reached, a retreat can be cancelled until the remaining balance is due. In this case, the amount paid will be refunded in full. Other claims can not be made. A short-term cancellation due to force majeure, official measures or strikes remains reserved.

Travel & Arrival Formalities

The return trip to the destination is the responsibility of the participants and its costs are not included in the offer. The participant is responsible for adherence to the entry requirements to and from foreign countries. Passports or identity cards must be valid at least until the participants’ return date, in some countries at least 6 months beyond the return date. The provider accepts no liability for non-compliance with the regulations and the associated expenses, e.g. in case of refused entry.

Insurance

Insurance is in all respects the concern of the participant. The provider can not be held liable for the theft or loss of objects. Participants are advised to arrange for the following insurances: travel cancellation insurance, health and accident insurance.

Personal and health requirements

Participation in yoga retreats requires good health and a stable mental condition. The participant participates on his/her own responsibility and must notify the provider of any physical and/or psychological impairments. If necessary, consult a physician or psychotherapist. If a participant does not fulfil the physical or mental conditions, the provider can exclude him/her from the retreat. Any additional costs will be borne by the participant and the amount already paid will not be refunded.

Liability

Liability of the provider is in any case limited to the amount and scope of the agreed offer and covers only the direct damage. The provider remunerates the cancellation of agreed services insofar as it was not possible on the spot to provide an equivalent replacement service. The provider is not liable if the non-fulfilment or non-compliance of the contract is due to one of the following causes:

(A) Dereliction of the participants before or during the journey
(B) Unpredictable or non-assignable dereliction of a third party who is not involved in the performance of the contractually agreed service
(C) Force majeure or an event which the provider, the intermediary or the service provider could not foresee or avert despite due care

  1. Privacy Policy

The provider undertakes to treat the personal data and information of the participants confidentially and not to pass them on to third parties, unless the transfer of data to employees and business partners is necessary for organisational reasons. Likewise, participants are obligated to keep information about other students confidential.

  1. Photos

The provider uses photographs of its events in which participants may be identifiable on their digital channels (website, Facebook, Instagram etc.) and printed papers. If this is done against the will of a participant, he or she can ask the provider to be removed from the picture. No further claims can be made.
